    Our client instituted arbitration proceedings under the rules of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Centre related to the breach of a supply agreement worth over US$11M to deliver food to Venezuela.

  • A multinational gold mining company Colombia 2018

    Counsel in a class action filed by an association concerned with water affairs, regarding the alleged violation of collective rights of the people from 6 municipalities by an open-pit gold mine project. The second instance Court declared its lack of jurisdiction to hear the claim and dismissed the action.

  • The Colombian subsidiary of a leading international investment bank Colombia 2018

    Counsel in a class action (“acción popular”) instituted by Senator Jorge Enrique Robledo. Senator Robledo’s lawsuit seeks to declare null and void the selling of the contracts, assets and liabilities of Saludcoop EPS in 2017, within the process of Saludcoop’s forced liquidation ordered by the Superintendence of Health, for alleged violation of collective rights.
