    Advice for the restructuring of 1983-1984, 1985-1987 and 1988-1991 repayments of Chile’s external debt (25 borrowers) due to the crisis of 1982. The team work was led by Mr. Julio Philippi, on behalf of all foreign financial lenders, for US $ 8,950 million. Advice on “New Money” loans from the members of the International Banking Community to the Central Bank of Chile, for US $ 2,865 million. Advice on Short Term Credit Facility from foreign creditor banks to the public and private sector for about US $ 1,700 million. Advice to the International Monetary Fund (Stand-by Credit and Offset Credit) and the Central Bank for SDR 1,754.6 million. Advice to the World Bank for loans to the Central Bank for US $ 750 million. Advice to the Paris Club on loans to the Republic of Chile for US $ 390.2 million (1982-1989).
