Member of the Corporate/M&A team. He joined the firm in February 2014, having previously worked as advisor at the Presidency of the Republic, and as associate of a local boutique firm in Chile. His professional practice focuses on M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions, capital markets, and general commercial and corporate law. He advises clients from different economic sectors with special emphasis in the financial and forestry sectors and in M&A transactions of NCRE companies. Over the last years he has stand out advising companies and high impact entrepreneurs with focus on innovation and technology, and non-profit organizations which purpose is to improve education, quality of life, economic growth and to overcome poverty.

  • CORFO/Endeavor Scale Technology Program 2018

    Counsel to high impact entrepreneurs program “Scale Technology” developed by Endeavor Chile and financed by CORFO. The advisory included several high impact local startups performing in technology sector, including software, hardware, e-Commerce, IoT, Blockchain, Fintech, Biotech, among others.

  • CORFO/Endeavor Acceleration Program for Startups of Strategic Sectors (food) 2017

    Counsel to entrepreneurs of the food sector under a startup acceleration program developed by Endeavor Chile and financed by CORFO. The advisory included several companies focused on biotechnology, nutrition and health of the food sector.

  • GROUPON, INC. 2017

    Co-counsel for Latin America to Groupon, Inc in the divestiture of its Latin American subsidiaries. The advisory included the sale of Groupon Panama, México, Uruguay, Colombia, Perú, Argentina and Chile.

  • WALMART CHILE S.A. 2017

    Counsel to Walmart Chile S.A. in the sale of its financial services and credit card business to bank BCI, and in the execution of a long term Cooperation Commercial Agreement for the development of financial retail.

  • EMPRESAS LIPIGAS S.A. 2015 – 2017

    Counsel to Empresas Lipigas S.A. on corporate and capital markets matters, including the stock exchange listing process for initial public offering in national and international market, on December 2015, and the structuring of several bond issuing contracts

  • AVENIR SOLAR ENERGY SPA 2014 – 2016

    Counsel to developer company Avenir Solar Energy SpA in the sale of renewable energy projects, including “El Romero Solar”, a 246.5MWp peak capacity solar plant – the largest in Latin America - located in Vallenar, transferred to Acciona Global Energy SLU on December 2015. The advisory included several stages until the startup of the project in November 2016.

  • TECHO 2016 – 2018

    Counsel to TECHO on its international reorganization. TECHO is a NGO that pursue to build a fair, integrated and poverty-free society with presence in 19 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.
