He has been involved in many major infrastructure projects in the country over the past decade and has advised local and foreign clients in the structuring and financing of projects in transportation, telecommunications, hydrocarbons, energy and utilities. He has recently been involved in the structuring and financing of several of the most important road concession projects including Pacifico 3, Alto Magdalena, Costera, Navelena and Ruta al Mar.​

    Counsel to JPMorgan Chase Bank N.A., London Branch and Deutsche Bank AG, New York Branch in connection with the US$90M bridge loan agreement and security package for the 4G toll-road project Autopista Pamplona-Cúcuta. This project is part of the landmark 4G program, which promotes international investment in the improvement of Colombia’s infrastructure, the scope includes the construction of two tunnels (1.4km and 1.1km in length, respectively), 25 bridges/viaducts, and one toll booth.


    Counsel in connection with a US$50M extension of a bridge loan agreement to continue developing the 4G toll road "Autopista Puerta de Hierro – Palmar de Varela y Carreto – Cruz del Viso". This is was the first toll road project financing in Colombia in which Nomura participated.
