Peruvian port operator obtains credit facility

Peruvian firm Hernández & Cía Abogados has helped local port operator Terminal Internacional del Sur (TISUR) obtain a loan of US$33 million.

Scotiabank, the lender, turned to Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría (Peru) for counsel. The transaction closed on 18 October.

TISUR, based in the southern region of Arequipa, will use the funds to repay a bridge loan previously granted by Scotiabank.
