Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Peru has assisted Grupo Unilabs in a merger process whereby the following companies have merged into a single entity: United Laboratories Peru, Unilabs Banco de Sangre, Unilabs Peru, Unilabs Laboratory Diagnostics Services, Unilabs Business Services, Unilabs Production Services and Servicios Médicos de Diagnóstico.
The effective date of the merger was 2 November, and the transaction closed on 29 November. EY advised on tax and financial matters.
